Different words of Encouragement

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Encouragement is a powerful tool.  Words can lift us up from a challenge day, inspire us to be our best, and make us feel appreciated.  Encouragement prevents us from giving up.  Most people can and are willing to do more than they are now if they are encouraged by others.  As John Quincy Adams stated, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”  However, sometimes we get in a rut and we keep using the same words of praise over and over again.  Below are several ways to say “Great Job”!

Words to Encourage:

WOW!  Way to go! Super! You’re special! Outstanding!  Excellent!  Good!  Neat!  Remarkable! I knew you could do it!  I’m proud of you!  Fantastic!  Right on!  Looking good!  Beautiful!  Now you’re flying!  Bravo! Incredible! You’re unique!  Good for you!  You’re a winner!  Great discovery!  Hip Hip Hurray! You’re precious! Magnificent!  Marvelous! Terrific!  You’re important!  Phenomenal!  You’re sensational!  Super work! Exceptional performance!  You’re growing up!  You tried hard!  Beautiful sharing! Outstanding performance!  That’s your best work!  I trust you!  You mean a lot to me!  You make me happy!  You brighten my day!  I respect you!  You mean the world to me!  Awesome!  You made my Day!  Keep on trying!  Go for it! I love you!

Hopefully, this list will help you mix it up and provide those words of encouragement.  Post them inside your kitchen cabinet and use them to celebrate the little victories that occur each day.  I wonder if we all took the opportunity to share a kind word, talked more about the positive aspects of our days, and smiled more often, would our world be a better place?

Have a great weekend!

P.S.  Thank you for your participation in our Canned Food Drive!  We will be bringing to our local food bank over 300 items.  Way to show “NHCS CARES!”
