Annual Thanksgiving Writing
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Since this is the week of Thanksgiving, I thought I would share with you how I am thankful and then I
opened it up for staff and students to share their thoughts.
I AM THANKFUL FOR:
My parents and brothers/sister--they are my heroes and my rocks.
My nieces and nephews--for making me laugh and allowing me the opportunity to be a part of their life
My friends--for understanding my strengths and weaknesses and loving me anyway.
My godchildren and their families--for trusting that I would be a good role model and for allowing me
to spoil their children.
All of my former teachers and coaches--for teaching me many life-long skills and for all the great
memories of playing volleyball, basketball, baseball and softball.
My health--that I am able to do all the things that I enjoy and want to do.
Great colleagues from Alvirne High School, Campbell High School, Danbury Elementary School and
New Hampton Community School--then and now they make coming to school, each day, fun and
Awesome memories of my grandparents--those I will cherish forever.
Having enough food, heat and clothing--to keep me comfortable.
My aunts, uncles and cousins--for the great memories and for always being in my corner.
The skill of the many doctors and nurses who have treated my mom and niece over the past month.
