On Wednesday, September 11, you will have an opportunity to meet our new Superintendent of Schools, Stacy Buckley.  The Newfound Area School Board will be hosting the open house on Wednesday, September 11, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Newfound Regional High School’s Library Media Center.  (Please refer to the flyer coming home with the students.)

Hannaford Helps Schools is a program that provides NHCS an opportunity to raise funds for our student activity account.  The program began on September 1 and will run through December 1.  When certain items (listed on the flyers going home) are purchased from Bristol Shop & Save, you will receive “school dollars” that may be deposited in the box marked “New Hampton Community School” which you’ll find toward the front of the store.  If you shop at any of the other Hannaford stores in the area, and receive “school dollars”, please send them in with your child and we will bring them over to the Bristol store in order for our school to receive credit.

Throughout the school year, we will be “Capturing CARES” and recognizing students who have been caught modeling our mission statement, “NHCS CARES” (Character, Achievement, Responsibility, Excellence, Spirit).  During Wednesday’s lunch time, the following students were recognized:

Kamryn Batchelder - Character

Arianna Bertholet - Achievement & Excellence

Vanessa Frasca - Responsibility & Excellence

Sydnee Hahn - Character & Spirit

Brandon Hickey - Achievement & Excellence

Chloe Jenness - Responsibility & Excellence

Benjamin Smith - Character, Responsibility, & Excellence

Have a wonderful weekend!
