Reminders

Now that autumn is creeping in and we are experiencing chilly mornings, we ask that you remind your children to dress warmly for the weather.  Students head out to recess and physical education classes early in the morning, when the ground is often still wet.

Next Tuesday, September 24, is an Early Release Day. Students will have an early lunch and be dismissed at 12:00 noon.

Hannaford Helps Schools is a program that provides NHCS an opportunity to raise funds for our student activity account.  The program began on September 1 and will run through December 1.  When certain items (listed on the flyers that have gone home) are purchased from Bristol Shop & Save, you will receive “school dollars” that may be deposited in the box marked “New Hampton Community School” which you’ll find toward the front of the store.  If you shop at any of the other Hannaford stores in the area, and receive “school dollars”, please send them in with your child and we will bring them over to the Bristol store in order for our school to receive credit.

Throughout the school year, we will be “Capturing CARES” and recognizing students who have been caught modeling our mission statement, “NHCS CARES” (Character, Achievement, Responsibility, Excellence, Spirit).  During Wednesday’s lunch time, the following students were recognized:

Katelyn Cabral - Achievement & Excellence

Toby Eckert - Excellence

Jack Ehmann - Character

Macaelyn Hamilton - Achievement

Skyler Lacasse - Achievement & Responsibility

Santi McCulloch - Character

Asher Murphy - Achievement & Excellence

Meghan Murray - Excellence

Moriah Smith - Character & Spirit

Ariel Stage - Character & Achievement

Have a wonderful weekend!
