PTO

We will be having our first PTO meeting of the year on Monday, September 15 at 6:30 p.m.  This small group of energetic and caring parents are looking for others to join them.  We also have some officer positions available, and will be doing elections that evening.  Bring your ideas, suggestions, and ways to continue to move this very important organization forward .

Picture Day

Picture Day is scheduled for Wednesday, September 17.  (You should have received the updated photo form this week.)  If you would like to purchase school pictures, please fill out the paperwork that was sent home.  Your child should turn in the envelope, along with the correct amount of money, to the LifeTouch photographer on Picture Day.

Early Release

September 24 is an Early Release Day. Students will be dismissed at 12:00, following lunch.  There will be no NHCS Project Promise on all Early Release Days; however, there is a bus that will take students to the TTCC at noon.  If your child’s dismissal routine changes, please send in a note indicating the change.

Open House

Our annual NHCS Open House will take place on Tuesday, September 30. Hours will be from 6:30-8:00 p.m., and we always look forward to seeing so many families in attendance.

Capturing Cares

Throughout the school year, we will be “Capturing CARES” and recognizing students who have been caught modeling our mission statement, “NHCS CARES” (Character, Achievement, Responsibility, Excellence, Spirit).  During Wednesday’s lunch time, the following students were recognized:

Joseph Ballou - Excellence

Lillian Dow - Achievement
