We’re all very excited about the upcoming Winter Concert.  Students have been hard at work, practicing for this annual event.  This year’s concert will be held at the Bridgewater-Hebron Village School on the evening of Wednesday, January 15 (with a snow date of Friday, January 17).  The concert is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., and students need to arrive at the B-HVS at 6:15 p.m. All students will be traveling to the B-HVS for rehearsal on the morning of the concert.  In order for your children to participate, we must have signed permission forms, which were due today.  If you have not yet signed and returned the permission form, please do so no later than Monday, January 13.

Mrs. Marcotte, our ICT teacher, is looking for volunteers to help out in the library.  If you have any time, even a half hour here and there, she could use help in reshelving books.  If interested, please give her a call.  She’ll set up a time when it’s convenient for you to come in and see what needs to be done.

Throughout the school year, we will be “Capturing CARES” and recognizing students and staff who have been caught modeling our mission statement, “NHCS CARES” (Character, Achievement, Responsibility, Excellence, Spirit).  During Wednesday’s lunch time, the following students and staff were recognized:

ShayLeigh Batchelder - Responsibility

Sarah Buchanan - Spirit

Ms. Conway - Character, Excellence

Danielle Ford - Character, Achievement, Responsibility, Excellence, Spirit

Edward Goucher - Achievement

Brandon Hickey - Achievement

Skyler Lacasse - Responsibility, Excellence

Nicholas Mazur - Achievement

Caitlyn Mitchell - Character, Spirit

Hayden Wilkins - Character, Achievement, Responsibility, Excellence, Spirit

Share Your Photos for the 2013-2014 Yearbook:  Students are gearing up for class parties, field trips and other fun activities. We need your help to capture those moments for this year’s NHCS yearbook. You can upload your photos at any time to http://nhcs.picaboo.com.  If you come by the school and plan on taking pictures of a school event, pick up one of the business cards that Nora Foster, our yearbook coordinator, recently had printed.  The cards contain photo upload information. Make sure your camera and camera phone settings are set to the highest resolution for best print quality.  Nora is looking for volunteers to coordinate photos, yearbook ad sales and yearbook layouts. Contact her directly at norafoster1@gmail.com.
