The Jump Rope for Heart event took place during your children’s physical education classes on February 16 and February 17. All students had the opportunity to jump and to raise funds for the American Heart Association. If your child participated in the fundraising, donations must be put in the special envelopes and returned to us no later than Wednesday, March 4. This is the fourth year that we’ve taken part in this event. Last year the students raised $1,470, and this year’s goal is to raise $1,500.
The last day for Winter Activities will be on Thursday, March 5.
Thank you to the Boxer Family for putting up the February Birthdays bulletin board. If you haven’t had a chance to see it, the bulletin board is very festive and is in keeping with Valentine’s Day celebrations. Would you be interested in volunteering to put up the birthday bulletin board in one of the coming months? We have plenty of paper and trim on hand. If you’re interested, please give the office a call at 744-3221.
Missing Snow Pants: One of our students is missing a black pair of snow pants (no bib). They’re new and have the child’s name written in them. Perchance one of the other students had a similar pair and picked up the wrong ones (lots of black snow pants around), would you please double check to make sure your child has the correct pair? Please give us a call if you do come across them. Thank you for checking.
Box Tops for Education: As many of you know, we participate in Box Tops for Education and have recently received information on a program they’ll be running for most of February. Starting February 1st, Hannaford is partnering with General Mills to host a Bonus Box Tops for Education program. From February 1st to February 21st, when you buy any 5 General Mills Box Tops products, you get 20 BONUS Box Tops at checkout. Look for the shelf tags in-store to help you find the participating products.
